GUWAHATI—SHILLONG—CHERRAPUNJEE—KAZIRANGA—GUWAHATI

Day 1- Guwahati - Shillong
Our tour representative will welcome you at Guwahati Airport/Rly station. After your arrival transfer to Shillong, which is known as a ‘The Scotland of the East’ & the capital state of Meghalaya. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours of journey (approximately), check in at hotel, evening free night stay.
Day 2- Shillong – Cherrapunjee - Shillong
Early in the morning, we will take you to Cherrapunjee, famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of two hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic water falls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee, we visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest water fall, Mawsmai falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai cave which is one of the 100 old limestone caves in Meghalaya. After lunch, drive back to shillong. Enroute we visit Elephant falls and Shillong peak. Over night stay .
Day 3- Shillong - Kaziranga
After Breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park appox 7 hour drive to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the Great Indian One horned Rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include elephants, Indian Bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon, hornbill, ibis, cormorant, egret, heron, fishing eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. We check in at resort/ tourist lodges.
Day 4- Kaziranga
Early morning elephant safari for one hour. Afterwards back to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we take you deep inside the central range of the park in a jeep. Then we come back for lunch and take rest for two hours. Again in the afternoon another jeep safari in western range of the park. Overnight Stay at Kaziranga.
Day 5- Kaziranga - Guwahati
After breakfast we leave Kaziranga for Guwahati, the capital of Assam. We check in at Hotel and take lunch. Evening river cruise over river Brahmaputra , night stay at Guwahati.
Day 6- Guwahati - Airport
After breakfast Transfer to the airport for your departure flight and your tour comes to an end.
