Day 1: Pobitora
Our tour representative will welcome you at the airport. After your arrival we drive to Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary. After reaching Pobitora, we check in at our resort, overnight accommodation at resort.
Day 2: Pobitora – Nameri
Early morning we shall start for elephant safari inside Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary. After breakfast we will drive to Nameri. Check in Tourist Lodge/Resort/Eco-camp on arrival at Nameri, evening free dinner & overnight.
Day 3: Nameri
We start the day with early morning elephant safari inside the Nameri National Park which is the home of the near extinct white Winged Wood-duck. Besides, the park abounds in elephants, leopards, sambar, barking deer, wild boar, gaur, Indian wild dogs and a variety of birds including four species of hornbill. After breakfast we gear-up for river rafting over Jia Bharali River. Later its leisure time for you to explore the beautiful place on your own and halt for the night at Nameri.
Day 4: Nameri – Kaziranga
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the Great Indian One horned Rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include elephants, Indian Bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon, hornbill, ibis, cormorant, egret, heron, fishing eagle and a host of migratory birds including Pelicans. We check in at resort/ tourist lodges.
Day 5: Kaziranga
We start our jungle safari on elephant back early in the morning in the central range of the park, for one hour. Then back to Resort for breakfast. After breakfast we take you for jeep safari inside the national park. Then we come back for lunch and take rest for two hours. Again in the late afternoon, we take you inside the central range for a sunset view of the park. Then back to resort & Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 6: Kaziranga – Shillong
After breakfast drive to Shillong which will take almost 6½ hrs, and known as a ‘The Scotland of the East’ & the capital state of Meghalaya. Lunch will be on the way. Check in at our hotel on arrival at Shillong, dinner & overnight.
Day 7: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
Early in the morning, we will take you to Cherrapunjee, famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of two hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic water falls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee, we visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest water fall, Mawsmai falls, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai cave which is one of the 100 old limestone caves in Meghalaya. After lunch, we proceed towards Barapani Lake. Enroute we visit Elephant falls and Shillong peak. Check in at Resort/Hotel on arrival at Barapani.
Day 8: Shillong – Guwahati
Early morning enjoy water sports on Barapani Lake. After lunch, drive to Guwahati. We check in at hotel/ tourist lodge at Guwahati.
Day 9: Airport
After breakfast transfer to the Airport/Rly Station. Tour ends.
